This is the area my husband would like to move to- in the outskirts.. in a rural area..It is nice to finally have a decision. He changed his mind on Idaho.. Anyway, after much research this is the area he likes the most. We are looking for someone who lives in this area that could help us a bit with finding resources for rentals, maybe send us a newspaper a couple of times a month (I would send you a knitted dishcloth in return) etc... We are having a hard time finding rentals online- they sure do need some local websites! We are looking for a house on acreage.. and it has to be a large house as we have a large family..
Thanks!

Blessings, Debra

Debra,

My cousin lives in Gower, Mo about 30 minutes east of St Joe - lots of farm land there. You might try the county Farm Bureau office for suggestions. Sometimes the smaller towns will mail you a paper if you pay in advance - might be worth a try also.

Good luck
