Clare, They should honor your subscription by sending you another Rodale magazine...This happened to me several years ago when I had subscribed to a Garden.com magazine and it folded, then they finished out my subscription with Better Homes and Gardens. I would call or write them.

I never read more than one, after they morphed from Organic Gardening magazine. It seemed like a yuppie magazine to me, lacking identity, direction, and sense of purpose. I'm sorry if others are going to miss it; I still miss the original Organic Gardening.

Oh, no! First Victoria and now OS! Damn! (as you can tell, my life revolves around magazines)

Happy Wishes!

I was intrigued by the magazine, and looked it up. Sadly, the magazine is folding, so if you like it, grab the October issue, because it is to be the last. Seems they had internal issues, but mainly it was a matter of subscriptions being down below what was needed to justify continued publication.

I sure wish we would have found it sooner!

Clare, Picked up a copy of OS tonight! The article on women farmers is fantastic! Also there are great pics of the Weck jars in the canning produce article. The little potbellied one is what I am interested in for my jellies. This is a great magazine.
