Drew and I are keeping our eyes open for a bit of land (no more than 5 acres) near enough to Moscow for him to dash in to work when there are emergencies. We are making plans to go look at a few places, but we are having to be picky and need payment options cuz I'm on disability and though he makes quite a good bit of money for Moscow, we aren't rolling in cash. I confess, mostly I just love driving out in the country and looking at places and thinking of all of the possibilities of each site., even though we have no plans to buy them.

Our place will show up when the moon and stars are jus' right. I have faith.

I "KNOW" in my heart that I will know my little farm when I see it and we will find a way to may it our own. Farm girl six sense or just plain ol' gut sense.
My dream farm has to be a bit off the highway and away from developers. It needs a lot of trees and a well and septic system would be nice ;)
I plan on making it a mini power house of micro-farming and rare breed preservation, organic and filled with native plants...a good porch and a place of peace. Probably going to rescue a couple of horse. I can't see too well, but I DO miss riding and I have a good partner to go riding with =)

Above all, seeing others farms and visiting farm property for sale keeps the dream alive and kickin'. I love looking at all of the blogs here and seeing what others are doing.

Wishing you joy in small things and peace in your heart

Annika

Hi Annika,
It seems to me these opportunities present themselves when we stop trying . . . I guess we have to get ourselves out of the way so that God can give us the blessing! Wishing you the best!

Hugs & blessings,

Brenda
