I loved your blogs! I've heard of fainting goats, but never knew why they were bred that way. THat's so sad. They all look very healthy and cute!

Oh Bev!!

i bet that was so Hard!!
Poor babies!! ALL of you!!
Goats & folks!!

Those poor little guys.. It is pretty scary to imagine that they would do that out of fear then not be able even help themselves ..

A bit like unwillingly playing possom but not to their own advantage is it.. because what ever is after them is still coming!

Well.. good thing these are all for fun & pets..
& poor guys are for the most part aren't left out in the wild , to fend for themselves isn't it!

In a World Where you Can Be Anything, Be Yourself..

Oooh!! Poor Princess! Very clear pictures though, I don't think they will have any problems seeing that they are "fainting goats".

Bev I've just spent some very enjoyable time reading through your three blogs. Wow...what is it about your writing that just touches my soul. I'm sitting crying over your entry about Free Will and thinking about poor little princess. I really felt that I was right there with you scaring the poor little thing. I had no idea there was a bred of goat like this and they were bred to be the sacrificial "lambs" so to say. I too am slowly converting to earth friendly things, we've gone vegetarian over the past six months. I am struggling to clean, paint, weed my home to sell it and find our farm. You are such an inspiration to me. When I was reading through your profile....I thought, gosh, you are really living your dream and you look great and you have this deep well of spirituality that shines in everything you do! There is something about a nurse who is a farmgirl....such deep respect for life because we have seen so much death and suffering. I know exactly how you feel about Princess. And with all of your little birdies having flown the nest, she is your baby now. And the bear....how scary is that?

Thanks for sharing so much of your farm and life. You are an inspiration!!
