Posted - Mar 23 2012 : 07:54:34 AM I have a high school girl that works with me in the evenings to milk my goats. She is going to prom. Her dress needed alterations so I volunteered. Right after we got done milking I had her change into the dress and stand on a five gallon bucket so I could pin the dress. My son walked in to the dairy on his way to getting his chores done. He said "that is so country mom". I don't think he meant it as a compliment. Tee Hee |

Posted - Apr 11 2012 : 04:54:44 AM I think that's adorable! Raisin' them up right, I tell ya. My boys always say they won't marry anyone who isn't "redneck" like their mom. I THINK they mean that as a compliment...

Posted - Mar 23 2012 : 08:14:00 AM My girls say the same thing alot to me. I smile and say "Thank you!", which always gets a sigh and eye roll. I know they aren't ashamed of their country-hick momma though. They tell all their friends with pride the silly things I do and their city-slicker friends say how 'cool' it is!
So just remember, You're Cool!!!
