After devouring the latest edition - I felt inspired to do something along the lines of donating books for the group on Rota Island. I wanted to know if there's anyone else who's inspired, or maybe who've already sent something that way? Would like to get a better idea of how much $$ we're talking to mail. I checked their website, so I know there's other ways to help.... Mainly what I'm asking here is can I start a thread about this, and if so, where to put it? I did a search and didn't see anything else started already.

thanks!~

Welcome to the group!

Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie. ~Jim Davis

I mailed a flat rate box to them fine...Not sure they got it but have another ready to go. I have lost the address so trying to find it here. I'd also like to email the person there to see if they got it...but shipping is exactly the same as the USA shipping...and books are heavy so ship in a priority flat rate box and then you don't have to worry about the weight.

Try www.georgiafarmgirls.com

They've made a big push for books. Good luck!

Good idea, Amanda. I was wondering too. I have lots of books I don't need.
