One was so intense that the thunder shook our house and the lightning caused us to lose power. But I was able to catch some pretty neat lightning pictures I wanted to share! Thunder and lightening storms aren't very common here but last year we had rolling thunder and lightening across the sky one night. My daughter and I stood outside in the rain taking pictures. It has been quite the summer with high temps, humidity, and the cross winds across the state from the Gulf and Atlantic Ocean. We too have been having some humdinger pop up storms.
