For us who are so done with the summer heat you will get it when I say, "My front porch is now officially decorated for fall".

I started a couple of weeks ago by changing out a few things. This morning, I was looking at my summer windsock and I thought I'm so tired of the bright colors of summer so that started the complete change over on my front porch to the cool colors of fall. Now when I look out my living room window and see my windsock blowing in the breeze, I see fall colors and I find that very restful.

Sara, I am getting my fall things out too. I am so sick and tired of endless heat and humidity every day. And mosquitoes zooming after me every time I go out the door!! I agree with you too that seeing my fall things coming out, just makes me feel calm and happy. Count me in the group that is moving on to Fall!!!

I'm so tired of this heat here in Texas. but that is how it is here. I usually start decorating for Fall the first weekend in September.

I am still not ready for my fall decorations yet. Even though we have been in the high 90's, I am still not ready to let go of Summer. But I can totally understand why those of you in Texas and those having temps in the 100's are ready for Fall. I hope it cools down for you all soon.

No fall decor here yet. I know it's bad when I consider 97 to be a cool day. I'll wait until September.

I thought about changing out summer decor for Fall and have been debating with myself .. do I wait until September? Maybe, if I put out some Fall things the 100 degree temps here in Texas will scurry out of here! Probably not .. forecast this week is 98 102 105 105 102

I am ready. The hot temps that are here and starting this week wipe me out! I'm ready for cooler days.
