Posted - Apr 25 2024 : 05:04:08 AM Yesterday he went to the local grocery store and came home with this-
As you can see, one slice has been eaten by him last night. This morning he told me to take it to work, where it is just my boss and myself. He works with three other people. I do not need this temptation. The easy solution is to wrap each slice and freeze it.

Heather, it depends on what it is for me. Homemade chocolate chip cookies are a different story. Especially when they are warm.

Posted - Apr 26 2024 : 04:16:08 AM I'm the one who finds gluten and dairy free desserts. I found the GF and DF cheesecake at local grocery store. Oh it was good! I had blackberry pie filling in the pantry and that was a good topping for cheese cake I told my husband to enjoy rest of cheese cake. A treat!

Posted - Apr 25 2024 : 1:25:52 PM That's why I don't bake anymore. He asks for a German chocolate cake. I bake it. He eats one piece and I am left with the rest of the cake. I'm diabetic and really do not need any cake. My cats aren't too fond of cake and the Goodwill won't take it. LOL.

Posted - Apr 25 2024 : 11:49:59 AM Giggle! I actually prefer my cheesecake frozen or slightly frozen! Your post also reminds me of my youngest son, 16 years old, every time I bake something and let it cool, I come back to the middle missing! Simple joys in life!!

Posted - Apr 25 2024 : 05:41:39 AM Vanessa, the problem with freezing cheesecake is that half-frozen cheesecake isn't bad. Been there done that.
