Posted - Oct 30 2023 : 09:37:06 AM I had written Nancy Jo to check in on her and her family and here is what she wrote to me. She said I could share.
Hi Deb, Thank you so so so for your caring interest. It does seem like It;s been one thing after another. Jon is doing good now after his heart surgery, owns a car garage and does repair work on cars. So he works a few hours a day, but that about all for now, but coming along good. Then Richard he has lung and kidney cancer, they seem to be keeping it under control, but the medicine he has to take makes him feel sick. But being Richard he works through it, always working outside and doing something here in the house, drives the kids around , teaching Mandy Golf. But as with any cancer not sure how this will stay or get worse. Lets see, what other good news? Richard’s sister passed away this year, she had been in a nursing home. Now the good news, I feel fine, keep busy, all the family will be here for Thanksgiving. See them all often, they all live near, so always coming and going. The other thing that upsets me now is the price of stamps. How I love to send cards and other things to Farmgirls, it costs more then a dollar to send two cards. Probable have to sell the house to mail a package! Perhaps you could show this to the MJ SITE, I DO MISS YOU ALL AND HOPE TO GET BACK. Thank you again Deb for your caring interest. Very large hug Nancy jo Let’s continue to Keep her and her family in our thoughts and prayers.
