My kitty ( senior rescue) has become my little shadow… if she does not see me she will walk around the house with a little ‘meow’ in search of me.
She isn’t a fussy lap kitty but she loves being next to me for petting and scratching her chin and kissing ..
I would like to think she watches me in total adoration but I suspect otherwise!
When I have my quiet morning coffee she is there watching..
I can not even visit the “Tinklelarium” (potty room) with out her presence… 
I love my little shadow…

Awww, I love your story Grace about your sweet and devoted kitty! And Heather,Sweetheart is just adorable too! What a way to start your day with her at the door waiting for you to come out.

Oh you all are so blessed. I love cats, and had them as a youth and young adult. Then realized I am allergic to them. So sad! I would like a barn cat, or two, but I am thinking my dogs won't have any part of that.

Grace, I just love your cats face!! Makes me smile every time I see it. I have a shadow as well but she is huge! My Great Dane has to follow me everywhere. Honestly drives me crazy sometimes because she is always in my way. The worst is when we go camping and have her chained up outside to go potty and if I am still inside the trailer she will cry and whine like crazy. As if I have just abandoned her! But she is so sweet and I know she loves me, so I deal lol!

Isn't it wonderful when they adopt us? LOL! My kitties are all outside barn cats, but I have one that adopted me. She meets me at the back door every morning and evening when I go out for chores and she follows me everywhere outside - to the pasture to get the cows up, out to the huts to feed the calves, she even sits in the parlor for milking :) I imagine she'd be just like your kitty if she was allowed in the house. What's your kitty's name? I call mine sweetheart:
