Just started reading "The land between Us". The other book, "Still Life" just came in the mail yesterday. Should keep me busy for awhile.
Cold here today, yesterday mild. Very odd winter. Except for that seven feet of snow we had early on, there has hardly been any snow. Not the usual Feb. weather.
Just finished two afghans but have to stop for awhile it was hurting my whist. carpel tunnel I guess.
Hope you are all well and Happy.

Well, that is good to know. You definitely can't judge a book by its cover.

April, I meant to comment on the interesting book photos you found . My first thought was I wonder what all those books are about? Then I wondered, if you have that many books, how often do you re-read any of them or even spend the time looking at them again?

The "land between us" was a nice story. I didn't like the the book "Still life." I tried, 40 pages and gave it up.

Nancy how do you like The Land Between Us? That's one I thought about picking up.
I agree, not at all like February! 50's down to 30's, thunderstorm warnings today.

Don't you just love to know you have unread books stacked and waiting for you! Such a good feeling! AND, beautiful too!

Both sound intriguing! I need to look them up and see if they are up my alley. I just started The Fox and I. Should be good for a few weeks evening read! Enjoy yours!
