Posted - Dec 31 2022 : 3:56:02 PM Hey all,, first,, I want to wish you all a Happy, Healthy and Creative New year... Secondly,, Thank you for all the lovely Holiday cards,, I am remiss for not getting mine out, a few.. but Life got in the way with life and well, I so apologize for not sending them out..
Thirdly,, not sure what is going on with the mail here.. but I am starting to receive cards weeks after they were post marked.. The oldest was post marked Dec 12th, I got it this past Thursday.. most of the rest are post marked a few days before Christmas..
With all the problems that the weather has brought, up here I-90 by us was shut down 3 different times, one for over a day... I suspect the delayed delivery is/was due to the foul weather..
So I apologize for not having Thanked you for your cards...
We are staying home and will celebrate with Left-overs and wine,, might even stay awake till 10pm... after all, it will be Midnight somewhere! lol!
To all of you, Happy New Year, hugz

Posted - Jan 01 2023 : 4:20:59 PM Grace, I was wondering how bad your area got hit with the Christmas storm. Even down here in Florida we had 5 nights in a row with temps in the 20s which is unheard of here for 5 days in a row! I hope things have calmed down and you can get back to life running more normal.
Happy New Year to you and all the Farmgirls!! Stay warm and let us know what fun things Santa left for you!!

Posted - Dec 31 2022 : 7:02:58 PM You're in good company Grace - we've had awful weather too, finally thawed out and can see the earth that's been hidden for 2 mos under snow and ice... our mail is inconsistent at best... we too, have days with out mail, then a lump sum will come. I don't mail anything from our mail box anymore, not sure it will even get to where it's intended to go. We are also celebrating a quiet evening at home, we'll watch the east coast celebration and be in bed by 9:00pm or shortly after... ha! I'm grateful to this community and all your friendships, it's nice to know you ladies are "out there" for support, encouragement and life tips. Cheers to a brighter, healthier, happier new year for us all. xo Oh, and I didn't get my christmas cards out either... first year ever.

Posted - Dec 31 2022 : 4:53:26 PM Happy, healthy, and creative New Year to you, too, Grace!! And to each and every Farmgirl sister! You’ve all blessed my life in immeasurable ways. :) I am sending virtual hugs to you all.
Our mail delivery has been really awful too. No first class delivery for 2-3 days and then boom a stack of first class mail 3 inches thick. It’s crazy.
Stay cozy and warm, sisters. Hubby and I are having homemade burgers and fries for dinner and will more than likely head to bed early!
