Nancy Jo, how may Children do you have?
Well lets see. I have three children.
Jon, Heather and April. And a very large
30 pound Kitty. She might be bigger then that,
I just know I can't pick her up.
I have four Grand Daughters, all have hit their
twenty mark and older. All I know is
they are all older then me. Well except Kitty.
They all live within four or three miles
from us. That's a very good thing, I think.
I was brought up on a big farm in a small town,
62 kids in my Grad class, about the same kids
I started kindergarten with.
Lots of cousins and aunts and uncles,
but most gone now. I think God thought it was
a good idea. I won't question that.
Married a great guy, have a cute house, more
room now that the kids have moved on, {sort of}.
Keep busy, really don't need to be some
other place. I do like the thrift store.
I better go now before I give away
our bank fund numbers.
Nancy Jo

It’s so fun to learn about other farm girls and what we all have in common! I grew up in a very small town…only 35 kids in my graduating class. My dad worked for the US Forest Service in Darrington, WA.
I have been married for 34 years and we have 2 daughters. No grand-babies yet. Thrifting is one of my favorite things to do! In fact, my daughter and I are going tomorrow. :)
My hubby and I are empty nesters with 4 boy cats and 3 girl dogs. :)

Karen :)

To quote one of my past preschoolers “Not one of those Karens, but a good Karen”! Haha

I love reading about online friends.

Well, I have 1 son, 3 grandsons, 2 cats; Ed has 2 sons, 1 granddaughter, and a grandson due in February. I grew up in a southwestern suburb of Chicago on about 2/3 acre lot - not a small town gal. My HS class was 1,066 students (we had 2 campuses - South was Freshman/Sophomore and North was Juniors/Seniors and Junior College) and my 2 brother's and my sister's classes were larger than that. My husband lived in Michigan, first out in the country and then in a Grand Rapids suburb. I love thrift stores, too.

Nancy Jo, we have some things in common! 3 children 2 girls and a boy. 4 granddaughters, (I have 3 grandsons in addition). Grew up on a farm in a small town. 67 kids in my graduating class. Same kids since the beginning. Same with my guy and house. I love the thrift stores and I knew we were kindred spirits!
