Thanks gals!! Nope...didn't crochet the potholders myself..they came from our Clare..arn't they cute. I knew I would think of some way to use them in my kitchen..they are just the right colors for my stuff...
I have been thinking I may find a silly way to frame about 10 of those pictures of my kids and send them to the older boys one day..heehee. Some are better than others. And thank goodness for the red eye remover editing stuff (not that I have done it yet) since my kids all get the red eyes big time. It was at night so I had to use the flash..last chance to sit them all in one place. sigh.
Rusty the rooster is still in my family room today. I will enjoy him inside until at least Saturday..maybe longer..haha

Hi Jenny,
What wonderful family pictures. Even though they aren't "perfect" with all of them smiling at the camera I know you wouldn't give up any of them (pictures or kids that is) You have a lovely family. I know you enjoyed your trip.
The kitchen valance is such an original idea. Did you crochet the potholders?

Loved the rooster story. Rusty is too cute,

love that valance, what a very neat idea..and Rusty looks great too.:0) your kids are terrific and I saw the picture of you too. (hiya!) thanks for sharing all the cool pics.
(by the way...if you want to avoid red eye on indoor photos..don't use the flash.. try to use as much natural light as you can..just a wee hint there)
