I just left a comment over at yur blog, but wanted to say again that you are blessed to have received such a treasure from your grandmother. It's so nice that she is still here to tell you about each of the aprons and the women that wore them. My grandmother that wore aprons died when I was 20 years old, but unfortunately at that time (and the years before) I wasn't much interested in aprons or anything domestic. My sister thinks she still has some of Gramma's aprons in her attic though and is going to check for me. :-)

Those aprons are beautiful, Bonnie. What a story they could tell. A wonderful legacy for you.
I, also, had been wondering where Nance was. MB

Bonjour, Bonnie! I think of you, too, and do not laugh at the reason! Since you posted awhile back about loving socks, EVERY time I go by a display of socks I think of you. I am a sock nut also. We have been back in Norfolk for three weeks now, so I have been plowing through dust bunnies, stacks of mail, and weeding like a mad woman....and loving EVERY minute of it! Also getting ready to have a yard sale to send some of my treasures purchased in the past on to new adventures in new owner's hands! Keep in touch! Hugs, Nance

Oh, they are exquisite, just like the ladies who wore them, certainly. I love the green gingham shortie apron!! Enjoy your new treasures. Nance
