Been doing a lot of smaller things today. Kind of chilly
outside this morning so just puttering around inside.
This desk is in the living room, one of my favorite things.
Had been in my family at the farm for many years. The desk part
and the drawers below are all well used.
Might go to the Library later, I buy the used books,
.50 cents, the magazines are.10 cents. A really big
special book might be a dollar. I keep some after I read them and give the others to a charity.
Ok off I go, be happy!!!

Lovely Nancy the way you have this antique desk fixed up. I like the idea of using the blue/white paper on the backsides of the shelves because it helps show off the items there.

I have one similar to yours Nancy Jo, it belonged to my husband’s mom. It is a favorite of mine as well. I love how yours is set up, I have put shells in our temporarily until we unpack books.
I guess I need to go to goodwill for some old books, thanks for the tip!
