Posted - Apr 10 2007 : 5:36:54 PM Today was one of those days at work, too many projects, not enough time, listening to some people phoning family and chatting or BS-ing with other co-workers. Needless to say I was getting "ugly" with myself and anyone that ventured into my space. It stayed all day, when I got home, DH and I went for a walk, didn't do much for the "Uglies" though. DH left for school, I started dishes, I looked over and put on my "tomato" apron (made with the pattern that came with MJ's budget mix tote), and finished dishes and then swept the floor, shook the rugs, and started to come out of my funk! I'm starting to believe in the power of the apron to bring me back to normal!

Posted - Apr 11 2007 : 11:22:51 AM I put on my apron yesterday (not as nice as yours), but it did make me feel better. I even made some bread. I went to a yard sale over the weekend and picked up a pattern for an apron. They only wanted a nickle for the box (there must have been 50 patterns)....anyway, I have the nickle and took just the one pattern, and saved the rest for someone who would need them. Again, I love the apron.......WONDERFUL! MJ

Posted - Apr 11 2007 : 11:06:31 AM I just ordered and received the prettiest apron and you are right about how just having a different feeling come over you while you're wearing it. My grown kids asked me if I was going to wear it all day,and I said yes I sure am. |

Posted - Apr 10 2007 : 6:46:34 PM I've been searching high and low for an apron pattern that I love, now I know why ~ it has to be powerful. Think of it like Superman thinks of his cape, right?
Very cool :)
