Took a picture of a redwork quilt that was made by Richard's family in the 1930's, and also was looking at a book I hadn't looked at in a while and was reminded how much I liked it.

Thankyou you all, I wish those that made it could hear the praise, well maybe they can. I think my aunt told me the squares either came with soap or something you ordered via the newspaper every month. I will ask her when I talk to her, because I have one from her too. I will show it soon.

I've seen that book before. It's got some really beautiful pictures in it. Lucky you!

I love it! I hope to someday either make or buy some redwork pillowcases. They are so sweet! What a treasure you have!

Beautiful quilt. I do like the redwork. Doesn't it look a lot like our farmgirl quilt? M
