![](http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/Snitz/Images/2021/10/DSCN8857.jpg?v 27066537) Hi all, Beautiful day here today. Warm and sunny, probably not many of these left. But I always look forward to the season change. Find it kind of amazing. Thinking about Fall I got out lots of candles today and the pretty candle holders. pretty soon it will be getting dark early and I can light them in the evening. But for today, we will be sitting on the porch after dinner. And I will be looking for the first pretty leaves to press. Just another thing that Mother nature does, she sure is amazing. Nancy Jo

Posted - Oct 13 2021 : 3:00:02 PM Beautiful home Nancy. I too love fall candles. I don’t really use them any other time of the year, but fall and Christmas candles just make the season that much better. Pumpkin spice is my favorite to burn right now. I hope you guys find many leaves to press while sitting on the porch.

Posted - Oct 13 2021 : 10:29:21 AM Nancy, you have a beautiful home! I too have a big fall scented candle that I love to light each morning or evening when the sun is not bright. Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me either. Sometimes, I have to really slow down and look carefully at the changes that are happening around me. While Fall is very late and subtle compared to more northern locations, there are changes everywhere here this time of year. They just aren't pumpkins and colored leaves and cooler days. One neat thing is that we have two of our migrating bird friends here again; the Baltimore Oriole and the Yellow throated Warbler. This time of year we also have many beautiful and big butterflies feeding on the flowers that are happy this time of year. I just have to slow down and pay attention! Mother Nature is always amazing!! Enjoy your fall candles that you brought out.

Posted - Oct 12 2021 : 10:40:47 AM Nancy Jo, lovely picture of your home. Enjoy lighting your candles. I gave up real candles years ago because I would forget them. I now use only flameless ones.
