Ed and I are enjoying our fall trip to Michigan. We loved seeing all the color changes in the trees.

I guess that really got me into the fall mood, because today we went to several thrift and antique shops and I bought a cute fall candy dish, a beautiful fall plate, a hanging Welcome Fall sign, 2 fall damask-style table cloths in golds-oranges-reds-browns, and 2 scarves. The 2 tablecloths and 1 of the scarves I got to make pumpkins with. The other was a black and white check and was 100% cashmere and was so soft. Purrrrrrrrrrr! So I'm keeping it for myself.

We were in one shop that had some cute pumpkins made from sweaters, flannel, and tablecloths, and I KNEW I could make them and probably sell a few myself. That's why I got the tablecloths and scarf. Of course, that means I need to get busy when we get home. LOL!

Here's a picture of the $3 plate. The rest is still in the truck. LOL!

Here are pix of the other finds: vintage purse for granddaughter, he and she metal fall decorations, fall candy dish, wooden door hanger.

And yesterday's finds: metal decaled recipe box, crocheted bell, and Lillian Vernon napkin girl. I couldn't pass her up.

Awesome finds Linda. That recipe box looks beautiful. It sounds like you and Ed are having a great time! I can’t wait to see your finished pumpkins. Especially the damask ones. Keep having safe travels.

What awesome finds Linda! I haven't been thrifting to much. Have to find a place for everything I already have first!
Nancy Jo, lovely photo! I love your oil lamps and hobnail dish.
