I keep this on the stove with all the bigger spoons in.
Thats a tray behind it. The cookie Jar was My aunt Maxine's she passed away many years ago, but I was blessed with a lot of her things.
We were at my Aunt Glenda's this past weekend, she is 106.
She is Aunt Maxine's sister. Had a big Birthday party for her.
She is amazing, her mind is so good.
Anyway, wanted to post a little something, nice to be back.

NancyJo,
It's wonderful for you to have things from the women in your family who used and loved them. Also such a blessings your aunt is doing so well at 106. My aunt, my dad's sister, will be celebrating her 101st birthday in September. We are going up to visit her this weekend. She is so happy to see us and and we are equally happy to see her and spend time with her.

Nancy, I love anything red and your heirloom cookie jar is great! The story behind it is equally fun and your Aunt Glenda, at age 106, is fantastic! How wonderful it was that you could help her celebrate such a milestone birthday too.
