Summer Stock- 1950- Gene Kelly and Judy Garland. A Theater Group performs a show to save New England Farm on the Farm!
The opening scene Judy Garland is driving a tractor. I was so busy looking at all the farm stuff, I need to watch it again!
I won't spoil it for those who have not seen it. I bet it's free on you tube maybe! I watched it on Turner Classic Movies. I will buy a copy! I loved it!!
Aww it was soo Farmgirl Fun!

I have never seen that one, and now I can’t wait! I willl look it up and see if it is on one of the “channels” we have. Have you ever noticed how so many of the old movies are set in New England? I have lived in New England for over 25 years now. It is really like the movies in so many ways, though it has grown too.

Can’t wait to watch it. Another fun one is the Long Long Trailer with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez.

Thanks for the recommendation!

Nicole

There was VERY little swearing! I think only 2 words and frankly it was funny coming out of her mouth at 80 years old! She was inspirational!

Cool, I'll look it up Connie! Thanks! I just watched an awesome Amazon prime movie the other night called Edie. About an older English woman whose husband dies after 30 years of caring for him(stroke) and goes on quite the adventure! LOVED it so. Cried. I'm a sap
