I had this plain Apron and thought hey why not put some embroidery on it. I did this a few years ago and because of all the time spent doing the embroidery I don't want to get it stained up. Got it out today and put it with my other aprons and decided its still an apron and I should use it as such. Sooooo I will put it on and not worry about it. I'M Almost sure there are more important things to worry about. Nice here today, everything so green and flowers so pretty.

Posted - Jun 22 2020 : 11:50:57 AM It's beautiful, for sure! I like the ones that fit like a pinafore as I found I'm so messy it gets all over, but I never remember to put them on! Eek!! I still have the red rose stitched apron that you sent me back when I was a new farmgirl, Nancy Jo! Of course, it is for special occasions. :)

Posted - Jun 13 2020 : 1:21:20 PM Very pretty. Let us know when you finally get the courage to wear it! LoL! I always save everything too! Why? I think it comes from growing up poor and respecting what I had because it wasn't that much. Anyone remember having Sunday clothes, school clothes and play clothes, never to be worn except then? If we don't enjoy our things now, then when? Life's short!

Posted - Jun 09 2020 : 08:31:18 AM NancyJo, do you remember the little bag you made for me with the squirrel embroidered on the front? He has been many places with me. I use the bag to carry floss for whatever project I am currently working on. It is the perfect size for that and my scissors. Whenever we travel I grab it to use on trips so I can do handwork while riding.

Posted - Jun 07 2020 : 07:24:49 AM It's a gorgeous piece Nancy and like fine china, why leave it on display and never use it? What and where will it go after you? Will it get used and appreciated as you would have? These are questions I always ask myself and questions my mother asked. Use it, if it gets a stain or two you would still love wearing something you decorated so beautifully! Sport that baby and enjoy life!
