Who is a believer in pennies from heaven? I am. When I was first married my mother gave me my grandpa's big jar of pennies because I would help him work and he would give me a big bunch of pennies from his big jar full---and a lot of times quarters too---LOL. And when he died they gave me the penny jar to keep---it was full! So I was so poor in my first year of marriage that I had to spend those pennies---hard to believe now! Anyway---I got bored and started going through my jars of peenies I have kept for years---just to fill up old Jumbo peanut butter jars I love. I felt guilty for using those pennies and I decided to look for 1977 and after---the year my grandpa died. And I found 1956--my birth year and a 1919 one---my mom's birth year. My husband thinks I am silly---but I feel it is a sign from God that I am Forgiven. I do believe in the pennies from heaven theory. Any body else think so---or am I a nut job???

I love it when I find any money! I recall once during some dark times when I put my hand into a pocket of a pair of pants I hadn't had on for a while and found a $20 bill. I immediately went to the store and bought a ham, a roast, and a chicken.

I especially love it when I find a penny on the ground and it is Heads Up with the motto:.. "In God We Trust''

I am right there with you Barbara believing in pennies from heaven. I always pick up a penny when I see it, and give thanks to God for I am a penny richer, it adds up. Hugs Karla

HG56,, if you are nutty,,, then scooch over sista,,, make room for me...
When I was younger,, my dad would always remind me of the value of a penny...
"10 pennies make a Dime... and 10 Dimes make a dollar.."
It always kept me focused on saving even the smallest amount.. as for the pennies you found, that represented important dates.. I think that is a lovely little blessing.

I never believed in pennies from heaven and never really found any and if I did I never thought about it. I started finding them after--- my aunt----who is a true nut job----and I love her so much!!!! But she thinks aliens are after her and that people are trying to poison her---she will not eat any thing unless it is sealed. Anyway she decided that people were dropping pennies for her to find to make her crazy. So I got tickled at her and then I started finding pennies every where. No joke! So isn't it a theory that if you find a penny someone in heaven is thinking of you? Rock on Vanessa---you are so cool.

I also keep an eye out for counseling. I don't have a sentimental attachment like you do, but they come from somewhere and give me a boost of confidence. You are no nuttier than anybody else (right, Harvey?).
