Hey sisters,, here is a company who sells an alternative to elastic for your face masks..to keep the rubbing from the elastic on your skin behind your ears.
they range in price from $1.95 for clear to $2.25 for colors and $2.95 for sparkle...
you can use Bias tape and then attach the ties,, so it will not rub on your ears.. and as you can see,, they are adjustable....

Wow, never saw those before. I was an OR nurse so the elastic doesn't bother me. Good solution!

What I like about this little gizmo is,, I wear glasses,, and between the glasses and the elastic,, it is a tad un=comfy on my ears...
