Posted - Feb 26 2007 : 9:03:45 PM Oh my gosh!! Yall have got to go and check out this website. I was surfing around and stumbled on to this woman who made her own outdoor clay and brick oven for $36!!! It looks really neat too! Granted she is a potter, but it wouldn't ahve to be as ornate as hers. Have fun looking! http://www.primalpotter.com
You will have to scroll about 3/4 way down the page to find the pic of the oven and there is a link to her photos.

Posted - Feb 27 2007 : 11:33:17 AM That is so cool. I haven't finished reading through the whole process of building the oven, but it is fascinating stuff. Makes me want to start doing pottery!
And I love the teapot with sails (pictured elsewhere on the home page). |

Posted - Feb 27 2007 : 09:11:41 AM This is too cool!!! As a young adult I did lots of pottery, but I would love to build one out of brick. We have a friend, who's a mason. He told me if I can draw it & explain it to him, he can build it. This is going on my wish list for the patio. I love to bake whole grain fresh bread, almost weekly, except in the summer when it's too hot. This will solve that problem. Sarah, Thanks for sharing!
