Posted - Feb 27 2007 : 6:15:15 PM but oatmeal is a great thing to eat too.:0) but just wanted to clarify a little about what Wolff Parkinson is..it's a congenital heart thing.

Posted - Feb 27 2007 : 6:13:43 PM Wolff Parkinson White is caused by electrical pulses in the heart causing a rapid heart beat..the blood pressure can be normal..it;s just the heart beats are very very fast..it's not a cholestterol problem, but an irregular heart beat..Wolff Parkinson is the thing that causes the sudden death in some young athletes.

Posted - Feb 27 2007 : 6:09:33 PM Tina, Thanks for sharing such a fun video. My prayers are with you and your husband. In the meantime, lots of oatmeal . . . it truly is supposed to help majorly lower chlorestoral (sorry, I probably butchered that spelling!) which is the leading reason for heart problems. It certainly can't hurt. Hugs and prayers coming your way!

Posted - Feb 27 2007 : 4:10:14 PM I clicked on the wrong thing and got the guy in the suit! I kept wondering why is she embarrassed by him? HE CAN SING! Then I found Paul...I think he is very amusing & cute but he better not give up his day job ! (I am looking forward to subscribing to Small Town Living when you get it to print!) Thanks Tina, I hope he is feeling better soon and you won't have to worry about him so much.

Posted - Feb 27 2007 : 03:40:55 AM Tina, what a doll! Blessings to you both. Aunt George's advice saved my neighbor's husband who had an attack while traveling on business. He's 100 percent now. |

Posted - Feb 27 2007 : 03:09:02 AM Tina....I'd vote for him! When is he going to try out for American Idol?
Take care of that WPW. Just a suggestion, and perhaps you already do this: Urge him to carry a sample ECG in sinus rhythm and a medical identification bracelet.
Also this is a nice explanation: http://www.clevelandclinic.org/heartcenter/pub/guide/disease/electric/wpw.htm
Take care, and keep singing, dancing, loving and laughing! Thanks for sharing your darling husband with us!!! Love the hat too!!

Posted - Feb 26 2007 : 7:02:51 PM Oh he's so cute doing that!
My husband had a catheter ablation done 3 years ago. It fixed him up and he hasn't had any trouble since. I hope your hubby gets better soon, keep us posted! And tell him to keep performing!

Posted - Feb 26 2007 : 4:48:51 PM Tina,
Your hubby looks like he has a great sense of humor. I bet he is alot of fun to be around. You are very lucky to have him! I will keep him in my prayers that his heart problem can be taken care of easily. I certainly sympathize on that (hubby has heart issues as you may know). I will also keep you in my thoughts and prayers since I know how scary those heart problems can be.
Hugs

Posted - Feb 26 2007 : 4:06:16 PM Paul (my hubby) has a wonderful sense of humour. We had a scare yesterday morning when he had a flare up of Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome..heart beat at 140 beats per minute..saw us in the ER ..they gave him a beta blocker and ekg..he is now home with me and feeling much better..he'll have an appointment in about 3 weeks to see a cardiologist and see what/if he'll have to have an outpatient heart procedure done to take care of things. Anyhow..I really love my guy..his silliness and all..he's a terrific/fun/loving husband/father.
