Posted - Feb 25 2007 : 05:57:44 AM I should have just put this as new topic. MJ Farm has been hit w/ some terrible news the last few months. Lastly w/ bunk-house cook Julie Bell . She needs us to send her signature circles for a table cloth for Julie Bell. To find out more just read "How's Cindylou" in the across the fence to find out more. They need our prayers thoughts & busy hands now. Julie needs us to do this.

Posted - Feb 26 2007 : 2:23:17 PM I guess what I really mean is....is it a pattern/picture/design or a true "signature/name"? Can the whole circle (except for the edge)be embellished? I just don't want to send something totally inappropriate. Thanks again, Ellery

Posted - Feb 26 2007 : 12:04:07 PM Yes, flat is true . . . MaryJane said no buttons, but rickrack, lace, etc. is fine. I would think very small beading would work, but nothing that will make the tablecloth have "bumps" so that the silverware and dishes can't sit right. I will get started on mine this evening. This is such a sad time, but if we can all be a little light to Julie right now, it gives us a sense of purpose and I do believe God honors these things. When people rise to the occasion during times of crisis, it brings out the best in each. I love you all, my special Farmgirl friends.

Posted - Feb 26 2007 : 06:27:22 AM I want to do a signature circle for Julie also, but I guess I really should ask, what is it, or rather what exactly goes on it? I am using beads instead of fibers. thanks, ellery
