I just read all of these posts for the first time and my heart is breaking. Is it still OK to send a circle? Sending my love to Julie Bell.

Does anyone know how many circles were sent in? Do we need to send more to complete the tablecloth? Is the project going to be photographed and posted when done? How is Julie doing now that she has had some time for all of this to settle in? My heart goes out to her dealing with all this at once. I was just curious?

Beach Girl, I didn't have any muslin either and like you a fabric store isn't near so I used a piece of dishtowel. Maybe they can put the different colored fabrics on the corners. :o)

I thought I had some muslin here, but I don't. The closest place to get some is Wal Mart, an hour and 15 minutes away. So, regretfully I will not be sending a circle.

The circles pictured are beautiful. You girls did a wonderful job.

Hello. We got our first signature circles and thought you'd like to see them:

Taking pictures of your circle before sending is a great idea, Brenda. I would have done this as I take pictures of everything, as you know. But it is good to mention it and remind everyone. I'd better get with it and get my circle made and sent.

I'm about to send off my circle and thought I'd bump this up just in case anyone missed the thread before. For those worried about your level of skill....DON'T. I'm sure it's better than mine. So, you don't have to concern yourself about being the worst...I've got that covered for you. To me, made in love and thought and hope, it will shine....

Such a terrible tragedy, very very sad! I nearly lost the love of my life last summer due to a heart attack and for many days while he was in intensive care I pondered how I would go on without him. So I truly feel the pain........I wish I could give you a really big hug right now. I barely learned the basics in embroidery and it has been so many years since I even did it so I dont know if I could possibly make anything that would be worthy of this project but I think I will give it a try. If it looks ok I will send it.

It would be neat if everyone could take pictures and post their circles before sending them . . . and of course once MaryJane finishes the tablecloth, to see it finished. It is so wonderful when women come together for a common cause for good. Blessings to each of you. I am excited to start mine!

Sunshine - a hug to you too! I hope your daughter can get the right diagnosis, and the right treatment soon, so she will feel better! I know how you feel.
