Hubby and I had a lovely day today,,, we went up to Deer Patk for the Annual Lavender Fest...
The weather was lovely today,,, finally.. still quit windy,, but just perfect at 80degrees...
and check out the their distillers...
The fabulous scent of lavender wafting in the air and the happy lil buzy bees dancing among the plants.

Nora, the chocolate syrup is super yummy,,,
I have had lavender wine,, it's ok,, but I think i'll stick to my Reisling... lolol!

Sounds like a wonderful day. Love the smell of lavender. We have a farm here and they infuse lavender into wine. I haven't been yet, but I will go one day.

Ohhh, Grace, those Lavender goodies sound awesome! I have a recipe for sugar cookies with lavender that are then dipped ,on one end, in dark chocolate. They are so good!! Let us know what that lavender chocolate syrup is like!!

Oh the scent was fabulous!,,, and all the yummy lavender goodies... lavender iced tea, pop corn, ice cream, donuts,,,,
I bought a jar of lavender infused chocolate syrup.. (to drizzles over my ice cream for when I got home)...
If you ever get a chance to attend a lavender fest,, I so recommend doing so.
