Long story short, when DH finishes his time in the Navy here in San Diego, we are going back to Texas. This past summer, we took a 3 week trip there and went to visit San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, Tyler areas. I loved them all. We are thinking of settling somewhere near San Antonio. I LOVED Tyler but his Ex is there, so no go on that one. I would love to hear from Farmgirls from there or who know the area. I am so excited to go there. I really fell in love (and yes the Blue Bell ice cream had something to do with it!!!!)

Cheers,
Heather

Oh, my DH is active duty Navy as well. But I was born and raised in TX. But in the DFW area. I love Austin so much, but it is a bigger city. San Antone is great as well, but has a differernt vibe, you know? And CC is great in its own right. I dont know much about Tyler. I guess it just depends on if you want to be around the beach more or the happenin' scene of Austin or the cultural laid backness that is San Antone. I vote for all of them.
