So,,, Quiltee and I were gabbing up a fest the other day, yacking about this & that.. her junktiquing scores and about sewing machines...
Well,,, not to be out done by her.. lolol!
Here is what I found, yesterday and for a mere $2.50....

this is just awesome,,, and I can hardly wait to make a table runner with it.

and this sweet lil crochet doillie for just .25 cents.

oh and I found this crochet apron with only 1 tie,, I wonder if there was a button on the other end for the tie to attach to.

the colors are a bit pale in this photo.

and as for sewing machines,, I had to go rooting around in the garage to find this one..

it's a Western Electric (1918-1941) probably made by the National Sewing Machine Company..

it was a combo electric/rotary , called a "Long Shuttle' because similar to the Singer Red Eyes,, it uses a 'shuttle' type bobbin.
Gotta luv vtg. sewing machines...
I had fun junktiquing... now it's time to go make dinner..

Great finds, Grace! You always manage to find wonderful things and always at the perfect price! I love the crochet apron and the chevron like pattern it's made with.

Lovely finds! I love to look at stuff in antique stores, garage sales and flea market. It's always so interesting! Many of my cast iron collection comes from flea markets!

Grace those are awesome finds. Love the runner top. What a great apron! I had two crocheted. a blue and white one and a rainbow color and white. I gave the rainbow and white one to a farmgirl in a swap a while back.

So nice when you can find them. Mine were in mint condition so I don't know how old they were.

I have a treadle that has a shuttle bobbin and I have yet to use it. I've had it for quite a few years now. I had an offer for someone to buy it but passed on it.

OK, just figured it out,,, my crappy camera caused the orange to pale out, so much so that it looked white in the photo... oh Duh!

I love your junktiquing finds, Grace. I have 3 crocheted aprons - red/white, purple/white and pink/white. They do not have a pocket and have both ties. I love them - and hang them on the wall.
Love your sewing machine.
