Posted - Dec 15 2017 : 12:41:46 PM I remember, as a child, going to town where there were decorations and lights hung all about. I also remember hearing this song playing for all to hear: Silver Bells! (We lived in the West Texas oil patch area!) Sadly we drove through our town, in north central texas , a couple of nights ago...and we're very disappointed! The only lights were on some trees or bushes up again st the court house and they were clear lights...No color. Of course no music either.

Posted - Dec 12 2017 : 12:36:45 PM Oh, Julie - Mary, Did you Know? - that's what I was going to say, too. An old one I like is O, Holy Night. I have, somewhere in my stuff in the garage, a reel-to-reel tape of my 100 year old grandfather singing it.

Posted - Dec 12 2017 : 11:54:46 AM That's a great one. I really like that song too. There are so many wonderful songs that it's hard to choose just one, but I would have to say my favorite would be Wonderful Christmas Time by Paul McCartney. Or any of the old classics sung by Nat King Cole and Burl Ives!
