oh berries,
my thoughts and prayers are with you both. yes, i think men are a little worse at the sick call.
glad to hear that yall found a reason for his lingering illness, that is treatable.
i do not have diabetes, but have friends that have had it, and one of my daughters had gestational diabetes. i think you can feel really bad with it and irritable, but when it all balances out you feel so much better. i hope yall have some remedies very quickly. it is no fun to feel bad.
i will be thinking of you and your dh and hope yall are both feeling better very soon.

Thank you girls. Dealing with the flu, and dealing with a husband with the flu, we finally found out why he's not getting better. Seems he is diabetic. So we are trying to figure all these things out, what to eat, when to eat, etc. I'm feeling some better, but when men are sick - they are always worse than women or (me) in this case. So now we have something else to work on. But thanks again for thinking of us, and say a prayer we can work all this out and start to feel better soon! Thanks again! I'll be back when I can! I miss you all.....

Fran,
I want you to stay home now and stop running all over the place getting stranded. Plenty of time for running about when the weather gets better.
Glad to see your post, and I heard from Berries, so the world is right again.

sheeees back,
i am here, at the farm, back from oklahoma city quilt show.
we were "snowed' in and the show was cancelled on the second day, so in some respects it was a bust. but we did have a good time.
i am home now, and cleaning the house madly as dh filled in for me with the grandkids and the house is.....well a mess. but the grandkids survivied so i guess it was sort of okay.
anyway, i am glad to be home for a while and a little travel shy now as this is the second trip where i have been caught in bad weather with the roads closed.
i will be home crafting until march when my friend, reid and i will be at the roundtop/marburger show in central texas.
i have missed the farmgirls and have tried to read all the threads and post i have missed.
glad to be home, for sure.
dorothy was right, there is no place like home.

Got an e'mail from Berries. Said she has been very busy, but most of all she and her DH have been sick with that flu bug. Her DH has been especially sick, even had to go to the ER once. So she asked for get well prayers.
