Posted - Jan 27 2017 : 4:06:54 PM How is it,,, and am I the only one who can go to the local Thrift to drop off stuff only to come home with more stuff?? How does that happen???
Todays find... 2 aprons,,, the 1st one is crochet in red and white...

I wish I were such a talented crocheter...

wish I new the story behind this apron,,, I luv that it is well below the knee in length and had a cute bib with straps that criss-cross and button to the backside of the waist... I paid $3.50 for the crochet apron and $4.50 for the quilted one... Yep,,, I need to go drop more stuff off at the thrift so I can find more stuff! lol!

LOVE your finds, especially the red and white one! No, you are not alone. Happens to me and my bff all the time. We egg each other on, too. I come home with more than I drop off. It's a virus, I think, lol!

Posted - Jan 29 2017 : 01:13:23 AM Grace...I never go in when I drop stuff off. But I more than make up for it in the long run...when I go back other days. I really like the crocheted Apron. I have never seen one before. It doesn't look like it would be too useful as an honest to goodness, utilitarian Apron. LOL Some one said it looked like a Party Apron and I think they maybe right.

Posted - Jan 28 2017 : 12:15:25 PM I really TRY not to go shopping when I drop stuff off. I have two red/white crochet waist aprons as well. They are different patterns but the red stripes are zig-zag on both of them. They're hanging out right now! CJ

Posted - Jan 28 2017 : 08:37:04 AM Grace those aprons are too cute!! I never seem to find good stuff at thrift stores down here. Never. It is frustrating to me when many find so many treasures. I think I just don't have any luck with this hunt and find. Or maybe this area just doesn't have people bringing it to thrift shops? Anyway, it would have been a big loss not to take advantage of these great finds. They are going to work perfectly for glamping use!!

Posted - Jan 27 2017 : 5:04:00 PM Wow, Grace! 2 great finds! Look at all that work in the crochet one. Definitely a party apron. The quilted one would be fun to wear. Probably down to the ankles on a short gal. like me.
You are not alone. I have to take some out before bringing more in.
