I live here in "America's Dairyland" and last year at work they started a program in the sales dept that they will ring a bell every time they get an order of $25,000.00 or more.
Some times you wouldn't here it all day then sometimes it would be rung many times a day.
They went from a STD office desk bell to a COWBELL with a distinct sound.
At the annual national sales meeting these t-shirts were passed out.
They also showed a Saturday Night Live skit from years ago with Will Farell playing a cowbell, everyone roared!

I secretly smile, and think they are coming around to "farmgirl" thinking.
I'm hoping we can do this as a theme for our employee day and give these t-shirts to everyone and have some fun with it.

Love the shirt. I'm a BIG FAN of Mississippi State. We use to ring cowbells at the ballgames but now we can't . Had other schools complaining about it.

I have to have that shirt! I'll come work for you! I love Christopher Walken and bought his SNL dvd at Target--that skit is on it, and my husband and I laugh so much that my sides hurt! Will Farrell is stellar!
How lucky you are to have that, and yep, maybe they are starting to see the farmgirl way--hope you can share your mentality (and some shirts) with the rest of the employees!
Just think of all of the roads there are...all of the things I haven't seen....yet. |
