I donated and bartered most of my cookbooks. I still have a few treasured ones.
But for me it is much easier to keep all my recipes in a computer file.
Less space, searchable and I don't have to dust them! I just open them on my phone and prop it on the counter.
I do have a few digital cook books (probably free), and I enjoy browsing them. But the recipes I like from them go into the file.

I used to have LOTS of cookbooks but I've gotten rid of most of them. Things have changed in this house because of my health struggles, etc.
I bartered some to farmgirls, but my last round I donated to our library.

I have my favorites still and a recipe box that was my mom's with her recipes in it . . . a treasure!

Like Nora, I love, love, love and LOVE cookbooks. I enjoy looking at the pictures and reading up on the recipe especially if family traditions are included. Christmas cookbooks are my favourite!

I have just bought 2 new cookbooks:

Food, Health, and Happiness: 115 On-Point Recipes for Great Meals and a Better Life - which I like. The recipes are doable and yummy, I enjoy reading the stories
The Oz Family Kitchen: More Than 100 Simple and Delicious Real-Food Recipes from Our Home to Yours - I haven't really had a chance to look it over yet. It has lots of valuable information. I like the section about when not to compromise on organic.

I'll stop! This could be a long list but they are all sooooo worth it! lol

I am making a serious effort to eat healthy. Another soft spot of mine is books on homesteading! Sigh!

Cheers!

Yes Jamie, used books are sometimes just to good to pass up. I get mine from the library, .25 cents and . 50 cents. Nice Christmas present you got. I don't have the Holiday one.

I hardly ever get to watch cooking shows but I still have WAY too many cookbooks!!! And I just brought home a TON of them from TN last week! Used bookstores are dangerous!

This is a great time of year to sort through them all though! Sit back in a comfy chair with some coffee or tea and a stack of books!

I got a new Pioneer Woman cookbook for Christmas too - the holiday one - I love it!
