Both last night and tonight I saw the Mcnaught Comet. Anyone else? It was just at sunset between 4:45 and 5:00 right in the west where the sun sets. It was pretty awesome. It was a beautiful orange sunset with a small (to the naked eye) comet with a large tail. Fridays was lower and smaller. Interesting anyway. MB

we had clouds, I was so hoping to see it. Watched a meteor shower once, that was cool. Michele

It has been so cold here that once the pigs are cared for, we hibernate! Just too cold. Wish I could have seen it!

Wow, Marybeth, THANKS for telling us about this!!!!!!
I don't know if we will be able to see it here or not, but I'm going to try. Maybe we should have a "Stargazing" topic section. :)

I didn;t get a picture it's just too far away. Great pictures online. Go to Mcnaught comet in search. Last night was the last time to view at least in this part of the country. MB

I will have to look tonight. We had cloud cover last night, so no viewing here. Thanks for the heads up Mary Beth!

I would have liked to have seen that too! Were you able to take a pic?

darn, I would've loved to see that. I'll look tomorrow night. It's really clear here (and DANG cold!) in N Idaho, so I should be able to see it (although I am in town)
Thanks for the heads-up, Marybeth!
