I know who wouldn't be interested in this topic? Well its a pretty book and its old and it has lots of pretty pictures and over the last few years has been keeping leaves looking pretty.

Cool that the book is your maiden name. Kitty must be napping! Oh, maybe she is collecting leaves! LOL! Busy kitty.

I have a book that I use to press flowers and leaves and have a sticky note on the outside that says, "book is pressing flowers".
That way I, or someone else, doesn't grab it, open and it and all the flowers, etc. are on the floor!

I use to use the Family Coffee Table Bible to press leaves and flowers. I like your bird book too!
And I think that must be why your kitty was trying to help you press leaves...trying to see some birds
close up and personal. LOL
