My sister has put together two zines, Farmer's Daughter 1 and 2, with writings about farming and such-about things she's read and her experiences, etc. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a copy of either one. She's not sure how many she has of the first one left but I told her I'd take as many as she had of them and she's planning to finish putting the second edition together this weekend. If anyone is interested please send me an email with your address and I'll get one to you asap.

She probably would also like feedback and may be looking for entries for the third edition as well so look for her email address in the back of the zine and drop her a line.
Liz

Liz, I received the zines. I enjoyed both of them, but the article on sprawl and the cows in issue no. 2 was my favorite.

Also, thank you for the card (did you make that yourself?) and the pictures which I placed along the edges of my mirror. As soon as I can get my thoughts together, (it's been one of THOSE weeks) I will send your sister a comment.

Mine came yesterday!! I love my Farm Chick tea towel! It is hanging on the stove handle at this moment with orders that no one use it! :) The zines are great- I love the cow issue and especially the drawings of the cows. I think I will frame it for the kitchen. Thank you so much Liz.

Liz, I got my zines today too! They are wonderful. The best part is the little personal touches you and your sister so willingly share. It is on my bedside to read tonight and my tea towel is hanging on my cubbard. I love it so much. You are so kind.

I got the zines today! I haven't had a chance to read through them yet but was able to skim over them. They look so interesting! I can't wait to read about the cows. The little extra card was such a nice treat! Also the little drawing of the cows were GREAT!

Will read tonight and give feedback to your sister. Thanks for including me!

I'm glad you could find something in what I wrote Ann and I'm glad your family is coming to a place to make decisions about your dad's things. I'm sure that as long as you all can be open and understanding it will all go good.

Liz, I loved your blog on blessings. Especially the part about Naomi and Ruth. My dad passed away 5 1/2 years ago. He has 2 huge pole barns and a garage filled with antique cars and parts. I'm the oldest of 6, and whenever talk of liquidating the collection comes up, my mom gets very overwhelmed - to the point that we can't even discuss it. Really, it will take years to go thru all that he has. We found 46 titles to cars, and that doesn't even touch all of the parts that are there. Just before Christmas, my mom and I were able to have a heart to heart discussion about it, and my brother, who knows cars the best, said that he can finally help with this also. He admitted that any earlier, it would have felt like he was selling off my dad. Anyhow, long story short, the bible's wisdom regarding caring for the widow comes up for me often, and I know that God has been directing me this way. Thanks for what you wrote. Very inspirational!
