Posted - Sep 20 2016 : 7:17:38 PM This answers my question on the other thread! And what a sweet little helper you have. Love every second of the help even if it is sometimes a little tricky to get stuff done around it.

Posted - Sep 18 2016 : 1:32:59 PM Ny Silky just HAS to help make the bed in the morning or unmake it at night . . . just HAS to! She also helps with the laundry. As soon as she hears me open the lid to the washer she's right up there supervising. I just hope she doesn't jump in with the clothes, however, I'm sure that once there's water running there she won't. CJ

Posted - Sep 18 2016 : 07:38:41 AM I have three wonderful helpers in my sewing room. Dory who sits by the window (she is a multi-tasker) about three feet away, Aggie does her rounds every 30 minutes, right through the opening of the machine and lays down on my work for attention, and Buttercup watches from the ironing board just off my right side. You've got to love the company of cats, literately, no matter how much or how often you brush them, they still leave fur all over your work.

Posted - Sep 17 2016 : 10:16:23 AM Peggy, Once I get a bunch of the little ones made I put them in a bowl of very hot water, cinnamon, cloves and allspice. Let them soak for a bit and then lay them out to dry. The spices make them a nice color and they smell good. You could use what ever spice you wanted, I just happen to have those. Nancy Jo
