ME!!!1
Yell,,, to a 4-legged fur kid that is...
Long story short my elderly M-I-L got a lil Shih Tzu dog 1 1/2 years ago,, she just HAD to have it... but then decided she didn't want a dog in the house... uugghh!
Well my hubby and I took the dog in and that lil stinker has wormed her way into our hearts!
I am still a 'katmom' but there is room in our home and hearts for this little girl..

...

meet Ginger... 14 lbs of cuteness.

we got her, her own 'doggie car seat' so she can go with hubby and I when we run errands... OMG! we have turned into 'those' people! lol!

M-I-L has had multiple health issues and surgeries, and should not have gotten a dog, but that's another story!!! anyway, she and my mom (both in their 80's) are the reason we moved back to California,,, to help out with their issues.... thank goodness my mom has common sense to not take in a young dog,,, instead she walks her neighbors lil Poodle 3times a week to get her doggie fix...

But when we move back to Spokane,, we will have a wonderful little traveling companion who loves our kitties,,, as for our kitties,, they are not amused with Ginger but tolerate her!

p.s. my DH takes Ginger out for her (1st) early morning potty break!
We took Ginger to the Poddle Parlour for her 1st bath and trim... we like the 'Teddy Bear' cut,, instead of the long hair and bangs Pompadour look. lol!

Congrats! What a cutie. Of course you had to adopt her as your own! If my girl wasn't so big (65lbs) I would get her a comfy car seat too, I know she'd love it. She could maybe use one like that as a pillow. ;)

How adorable. My MIL has a shih tzu a few years ago and they are so loyal! He refuses to go on a walk unless she goes with us and he always keeps her in his line of sight. They are such sweet little balls of fur and I'm sure she'll bring much happiness to your family!

She's a super cute fur baby! I'm glad you decided to let her into your hearts! I can tell she will be spoiled! That is totally okay! I spoil my fur babies.

So Cute Gracie...I had one too but mine was all black and I called her Bella. I had her for
5 years. She was only suppose to be 6-8 lbs and she was 18 lbs. She had the cutest personality
but she was a very jealous dog. She was fine being the only dog in our home but bring in another dog and she would go for the jugular. Some Shih-Tzu's are like that and some are the complete opposite. She got in one fight too many and we had to put her down. It's a long story but it nearly killed me to have to do it. Now, my Bella was a mixed breed so that might have been the difference I don't know.

Ginger is a cutie and I'm so happy to hear she gets along with your cats. That is awesome!
Enjoy her...she will be a very loyal pet and under normal circumstances they live a long time.
I like her car seat too...PERFECT! I preferred the Teddy Bear cut also...much easier to care for.

Hugs and Smiles,
Peggy

She's so cute! I used to have one that looked like her. Toto was her name. Yes you're getting crazy like the rest of us fur baby moms! LOL! Enjoy her. Even though your cats will be ticked off!
