I will never forget. I still remember where I was when I first found out and how the rest of the day went. It was very emotional.

This morning at the Chicago Botanical Garden the carillon bells there chimed for over 3 hours, tolling for each person lost that fateful day. When it ended, the silence was very poignant. It made me remember all the lives lost that day and all those effected by their passing. My husband lost his cousin, Daria Lin, that terrible day. She was a beautiful young, 28 year old woman who was killed in the first tower. She was an only child and both her parents fell to pieces.

I too pray that we will never be attacked again. We need to remember to come together no matter what our differences. As one, we will always be strong.

I pray this Nation will remember that we are no longer invincible! We can be hit on our own soil.
I will never forget either and I pray for this Nation continually.

Love and Hugs,
Peggy
