Kayaking... no matter what your age... is fun!
I luv my sit-in kayak but DH has bad knees so the sit-on one is easier on his knees.
Also, I am not a terrific swimmer so I wear a vest... may not look stunning, and kinda flattens "the girls"... but it beats the alternative!
Lolol!

Oh how fun! I have never been kayaking before and have always wanted to try it. I do have a fear of water that holds me back, but I need to just give it a shot!

Gracie...you go girl!!! My entire family is into Kayaking except us old people. LOL
I love to swim but I have never tried Kayaking. Even my two Grand-daughters in Seattle
ages 8 and 5 Kayak. It looks like an amazing way to enjoy the Lake though. So serene as
you glide along! If I ever get the opportunity I just might give it a try.

Is that your kayak, Kat? Ed and I have been talking about getting kayaks. And I think I'd want the sit-in instead of the sit-on. We haven't tried it yet, but think it would be fun to cruise over the waters.

I love to kayak too. My youngest son and I go every time we see a rental for them. I'm sorry about the loss of your dead pine trees. While the picture is still beautiful, it is sad to see how many have died off. I sincerely hope rains will head that way soon and end the drought.

notice the vast amount of dead pine trees... the 4yr drought devastated our National Park... the Oaks are stressed and nearly 1/2 of the pines are dead and have been devastate by the Pine Beetle.
so sad... This is Bass Lake in the Sierra National Mountain range.
