Omgeepers! ... Run... don't walk to your nearest magazine vendor (if you don't have a subscription) ... for the Aug/Sept issue of the MaryJane's Farm magazine... then go to the articles about Bees...Vtg. trailers, BBQ sauces, B&B farm getaways (luv).. and then read all about "Chaps" ( pg.62)... it's one of my fav girlfriend hang out time eateries in Spokane, WA...
Oh heck, just grab you MJF mag, a tall cold iced tea and find a nice shady spot and just enjoy perusing through your magazine, it will be time well spent.

Well, Gracie . . .you can take your Scotty! My little Sprite isn't going too far from home. But I could just plan on staying in one of Mary Jane's trailers there in her B&B! It's over 1000 miles from my house to the Farm . . . one way!

Well, thank you, Mary Jane! It's not likely that the "Reiver's Rest" will ever travel that far, however, that doesn't mean that something else wouldn't make it there to hook-up.
Hope your plan goes together smoothly . . . I know it will be spectacular when it's done!

Oh My Stars! there is no stoppin' our Maryjane... cuteness just oozes out of her pasture...
Hmmm, wonder if there will be a couple of vtg. trailer hook-up sites for wandering trailer divas (Cj & Me) who just might happen up her driveway... just sayin'

Whoop!!! Look at those photos of wonderful things to come at MJF!! Yippee!!!!! Actually, I will be happy where ever I stay as it will be the beauty of the Palouse and the sweet face of "My Daisy" cow to pet and scratch behind her ears. The darlin'!! And if an opportunity arises where some of us Farmgirls get to be there together at the same time........it will be pure magic! Pure MAGIC! Oh my, I can only imagine how splendid the Tea Party would be. Just sitting around the camp fire will be awesome. PLUS, I would definitely take a day trip to the little town where MaryJane's flour Mill from Joseph Barron resides. I just want to touch it and see it in the real. The story from her Ideas book has had me itching to visit the place since I read about it 6-7 years ago. Such a wonderful opportunity to preserve the story of how the local flour mill was the meeting place of neighbors, exchanging news, and getting wheat made into a superb flour for the daily bread staple. Those pieces of our American story are treasures and worth preserving for future generations to come.

Here is to MaryJane and her crew for a successful summer of moving this huge project forward to make her dreams come true! Many people will benefit from this beautiful farm and MaryJane's special way of bringing back those pieces of our past so worthy of keeping alive and thriving!!

Going to MaryJanes B&B has been on my bucket list since I joined the sisterhood. My dream too is to stay in one of the tents.
You are right CJ, another Farmgirl tea party is what we all need!

And our guest house (year-round occupancy) is getting a facelift that started with a new foundation, new insulation, and new siding, sliding glass doors, deck, etc.

Ah, yes, working away on some trailer stay sites. Two Shastas, a Yellowstone, and one Airstream.

Here's one of the Shasta sites, and as you can see lots of construction going on. The concrete pad will be poured next month but the canopy is in place. The privacy grape arbor to the right in the photo is already growing vines, but it'll be while for those to fully cover it. In the meantime, I have pole beans headin' to the heavens.

By the way, Winnie, Mary Jane tells me she's going to be using vintage trailers at the B&B when it reopens. I believe that is her plan, instead of tents. That'll be so cool!

Winnie,
It would such fun for a bunch of us farmgirls to be able to meet there for another Farmgirl Tea Party! The one we had in 2011 was such fun!
Hopefully, it'll happen someday!

Love those photos, CeeJay of your B&B visit!! When I had the opportunity to visit last Spring, the tents were not set up for use so I got to stay in a little cabin. It was charming and had MaryJane's sewing things in there.

I always wanted to stay in one of the tents so whenever the new B&B opens up, I want to book a stay! When I do visit north Idaho, I have been flying into Spokane, so next trip I will need to make Chaps a stop!!

It would be a wonderful dream come true if a lot of us could all be at MJF together when it opens up as a new agri-tourism destination!
