Things I am thankful for:

Catharine's blog (aka "cmandle")that gave me the Irish Hiking scarf (and Catharine), she must be special, she gave a chicken to Tasha that laid a golden egg...... and she likes snow as much as I do.... now I have a sock project too!!

Aunt Jenny's embroidery, it inspires me.....

Daisy's cookbook, it keeps me from being hungry.....

Tasha - who produced the world's most beautiful children and received the chicken that laid the golden egg

Kay from Washington who sent me lovely, lovely sweet smelling soaps and delights to start the new year off with.

Lisa (aka Miss wool woman "Somerhill"), who's sheep inspire me and wool I'm sure will surprise me...

Are there any more smart, delightful people to know in the whole world????

Oh my gosh, I almost left out Ronna who's sourdough is rising yet again in my kitchen...

there's a new blog everyday, you guys are amazing!!!

Jo in alaska (It's 9 degrees out finally)!

I love the fact that we all learn something from each other w/ no false pretence. No one here thinks they are bigger or better then the next. I have never met one of you yet, still, I feel I know you on such a deep level because of all we share. You all are my true "cyber" farmgirl sisters & this is something I NEVER want to lose.

And I'm totally flabbergasted to be be included on Jo's list. Everyone here has been so kind to welcome me and not be snooty like so many groups can be. For an Alaskan gal to be impressed with my sourdough starter....I'm just so amazed. I know it's good, but had no idea others would agree. Makes my heart happy :) Ronna

Jo, you're so sweet. I think I may have blushed. :)

Farmgirls are incredible. My little boy is wearing clothes from Katiedid right now, I have dried lavender from MJ's Farm on my buffet and a little pillow from Aunt Jenny that reads "you can't keep a Farmgirl down." These, among the many other letters, notes and little special things remind me daily of how cool this group is.

I'm thankful for all of you!

Catherine

I agree. I am always amazed by the warmth of everyone. When my sister lived up north she wrote one day and said it finally is warming up--it is 16. Hmmmmm.... MB
