I have had this old clock for decades ---battery operated with pendulum that never seemed to work and then gave up the ghost entirely. After some chalk paint and some gentle distressing....I went ahead and removed the glass plate where the pendulum could be seen and placed and potted an ivy!

Beautiful clock, nice job! I, also, like it next to the drapes.

Nice job! It looks fantastic. I am going to show this to my mom. She has a clock similar to this that hasn't worked for years. Maybe this will give her some ideas on what she can do with it.

Thanks Sara! I love my 'retro' drapes! Bought 'em on Ebay dead of winter ---I guess I needed some color!

I've always been pretty conservative window treatment-wise--but I saw those drapes and thought what the hay.
