I was outside on my front porch to put the birdhouse out there that I got yesterday, had to take a picture, sure doesn't look like winter. They are saying next week we might get some real snow. Kids want to make a snowman, guess we should fly to Denver, oh thats right, I don't fly. Well never mind.

Jeanette,
Thankyou. Careful with that embroidery thing, once you start its hard to stop. Just about everything you look at seems to cry out for embroidery.

Nancy,

Love your blog. I bet Abby will grow up to have a great sense of style and wit. I really like the lamp you bought. I have a few of them and you're right, they're beautiful when lit. As for the apron, you inspired me to take out my embroidery supplies and start working.

Di,
My porch is covered, but I guess on the wet coast it would still be a moisture problem. I would think you would be able to treat the birdhouses with something so they could withstand the weather.
Yes Tina and Diane, that lamp was an extra good find, that doesn't happen to often, even matches the colors in my living room.

I love the look of your birdhouses Nancy, I too have a small collection of them. Amazingly if I put them out during the winter they all turn green here on the wet coast!
That lamp is just gorgeous, love it! What a treasure.
