"Silky", my tortoiseshell cat is very entertaining! One thing she likes to do is sit on the bar stools in our kitchen and "talk" to me while I'm on the other side of the bar/counter.
This is one pose she strikes, sitting on the stool I usually sit on while at my laptop!

I Doubt Silky will travel with us for glamping. She's NOT fond of being in the car and I've only had her in the car twice in three years and that was for trips to the vet. However, that doesn't mean she can't glamp with me while the trailer is parked in the yard. Best time for that is afternoon when she's ready for a snooze!

CJ: I do remember when Skye went missing. Several of us were praying for her return.
Silky sure does like her naps!!! So sweet.

Taking a snooze out in the glamper trailer yesterday afternoon. She went with Bramble and me . . . we all took little snoozes!

Thanks Marly! She is so much fun! I still think, with HUGE FONDNESS, of "Skye" our cat that we had prior to getting Silky. I have a great picture of her on the wall in my project room that I can look at occasionally. Skye was an indoor/outdoor long-haired calico and VERY quiet! She didn't say much in all the years (16) we had her and she generally only talked when we had been gone for a few days and then she would tell us all about it and "scold" us for being gone. She disappeared in December 2012 . . . I believe a predator got her!

This handmade comforter is my "extra blanket" for chilly nights! Silky loves to curl up on it and, lately, she won't leave so I can make the bed. I figured out a way of arranging the comforter and moving it, with her still cuddled in it, around so I can make the bed.
What a lazy cat!

Glad Silkie pulled through. We all worry when our "children" are sick. Hope you feel better too.

I'm so very happy to report that "Silky" is back! I sure missed my funny, busy, little kitty cat on Saturday! And, I get so worried when my pets are sick . . . my kids too! (They're adults and don't live at home but I really worry when they're sick!)

My poor Silky was sick yesterday. I think she got her mouth around something she shouldn't have while outside on Friday! Sick to her tummy later that day and then yesterday she slept ALL day and didn't do much, certainly not her usual rambunctious self.
Today, she's SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH better! I'm so glad!

I've been kinda sick this week and I think Silky knows it because she's been "watching" over me . . . staying close and cuddly!
Bless her!

Michele, I'm sure she would if she could! She just sits there and talks to me!

Silky has a variety of places she hangs out, including under our bed from time to time!
